In fact, for people who have a nasogastric tube in place, the medication can be mixed with 40 mL of apple juice and can be injected through the nasogastric tube into the stomach. After passing the drug, you are advised to flush the tube with additional apple juice to clear the tube.
Missed dose of Prevacid
It is recommended not to miss the regular schedule of the drug. If it happens, then administer the drug as soon as you remember. And if almost time for next dosage, then skip the missed dose and go with daily dosing schedule. Do not take double dose of the drug to fulfill the requirement of miss dose.
Overdose of Prevacid
If you carried out overdose of the drug, then it is advised to seek immediate medical help. The symptoms of the prevacid overdose are unknown.

Possible side effects of Generic Prevacid

Other medication such as ketoconazole (Nizoral), ampicillin (Omnipen, Principen), digoxin (Lanoxin, Lanoxicaps), and iron (Feosol, Mol-Iron, Fergon, Femiron) are also prohibited as they may decrease effects because Prevacid delays their absorption from the stomach.
